Heart of Texas Aircraft Engines, Inc. specializes in the repair and overhaul of Continental and Lycoming piston aircraft engines. In addition we also offer full removal and reinstallation services, inspections, and modifications. If needed, we will even come to your location to perform the removal and reinstallation. In the cases where your engine does need to be shipped, we use freightquote.com to get that done at the lowest possible cost.
All of our engines are built in a climate controlled environment to ensure the cleanliness of your newly overhauled engine. We maintain a complete maintanence library with all of the latest service, parts, and AD information. This library is updated weekly to ensure that your engine is built with the most current information available. All steps during the overhaul process are checked, double checked, and documented. We do not take any short cuts. All parts installed in your engine are either new or certified items and all engines are built to new parts tolerances.
All of our engines are backed by a 2 year/480 hour warranty.
FOR YOUR ADDED SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND, HEART OF TEXAS AIRCRAFT ENGINES, INC. PARTICIPATES IN AN FAA APPROVED DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABATEMENT PROGRAM AS REQUIRED UNDER FAR 120, PART 121, PART 91.147, AND FAR PART 135.

Heart of Texas Aircraft Engines, Inc. is your authorized dealer for Power Flow Systems, Inc. products. This means that in most cases a new Power Flow exhaust system can be installed at the time of overhaul with no added labor costs.
Heart of Texas Aircraft Engines, Inc. is your authorized dealer for J.P. Instruments and G.A.M.I. injectors. This means we can also take care of any of your engine monitoring installations or repairs. A new set of G.A.M.I. injectors can be installed during your engine overhaul with no added labor costs. Heart of Texas Aircraft Engines, Inc. is your full service aircraft engine shop.
Heart of Texas Aircraft Engines, Inc. is your authorized dealer for Mid-Continent Instruments. Mid-Continent instruments stocks thousands of instruments for all of the major aircraft lines.
Have you decided to go with a factory engine? If so, who do you want installing your engine? A shop that does 1 or 2 a year? The experienced installers at Heart of Texas Aircraft Engines, Inc. can handle any installation. We truly are your full service engine shop.
